From install to tracking, in five steps

Install the app
From your NYC Factory workspace, connect your Shopify store — Shopify asks you to approve the app once. Nothing in your store changes until you publish something.

Design and publish
Design in the studio or upload artwork, choose the blank and colors, set your retail price. One click creates the Shopify product with every color × size as a variant, your mockups as the photos, and puts it on your Online Store channel.

Sell
Your customer pays in your store, at your price, through your checkout. The paid order reaches our production queue within seconds — no CSV, no email, no manual entry.

We print, pack and ship
Printed in North Bergen, NJ in 2–3 business days and shipped under your brand: your label inside, your name on the box and the packing slip. Blind shipping on every plan.

Tracking goes back
The fulfillment and the tracking number are written to the Shopify order the moment the label prints, so Shopify's own shipping notification goes to your customer — and cancellations in Shopify stop the order here.
What syncs
- Products
- Created in Shopify from your workspace: title, description, your retail price, every color × size variant, mockup photos, published to the Online Store channel.
- Orders
- Paid Shopify orders that contain your NYC Factory products are imported automatically; other items in the same order are left to you.
- Fulfillment and tracking
- When we ship, the Shopify order is fulfilled with the carrier and tracking number — Shopify emails your customer.
- Cancellations
- Cancel in Shopify before production starts and the order is cancelled here too.
- The Brand plan
- Billed through your Shopify account: you approve it on Shopify's own page and it appears on your Shopify bill. Cancel anytime, or uninstall — the plan ends with the app.
What the app asks Shopify for
The permissions you approve at install, in plain words: create and update the products you publish; read orders that contain them; fulfill those orders and write tracking; read your locations and your Online Store channel so new products appear there. Nothing else — no customers, no theme, no payments.
Questions about the Shopify app
Does my customer see NYC Factory anywhere?
No. The order ships blind — your brand on the label, the box and the packing slip; Shopify's notification comes from your store. On the Brand plan even the neck label inside the garment is yours.
What does the app change in my store?
Only what you publish: it creates products you ask for, reads orders that contain them, and writes fulfillments and tracking to those orders. It never touches your theme, other products or customers.
How is the app paid for?
The app is free to install. You pay per order — blank, print and the real shipping label — and, if you choose the Brand plan, its monthly price is billed through Shopify. Prices are on the Plans page.
What if I already have products in Shopify?
Publish the NYC Factory version alongside them, or replace them: your existing products stay untouched until you decide.
Can I use a Shopify development store?
Yes — development stores work for testing; charges are marked as test charges by Shopify.
Is Shopify the only store?
Shopify is first. TikTok Shop, Etsy and WooCommerce are next, and orders from any website can be placed by hand or through the API from your workspace.
