About the LA Apparel 1801GD Black
A black tee at a classic weight. The Los Angeles Apparel 1801GD in black is 6.5 oz/yd² (220 GSM) garment-dyed 18/1 open-end cotton, made in the USA, shrink-free, with the faded-in depth that garment dyeing gives a black. It is the right blank when the heavyweights feel like too much: lighter on the body, still opaque, still square in the shoulders.
Print 24 × 24″ on the front and 24 × 24″ on the back. On black our direct-to-garment line prints a white underbase under every design, so white wordmarks stay bright and colors stay true. The open-end cotton has a subtle texture that suits distressed and vintage-style artwork from our studio's effects.
